Press release 17th of July 2020
Finnish School of Kosovo is the first institution in Southern Europe to start Kide Science program in their preschool for 3-6-year-olds. Finnish School of Kosovo strives every child in their school to grow into a smart, healthy, creative, and happy person.
Kide Science has created a platform to guide educators on how to engage kids with every-day hands-on science experiments. The educators also get training on playful pedagogy and using stories to make the phenomena relevant for the children. While doing the experiments, children also develop curiosity, science process skills, critical thinking and creativity.
“Our approach can be characterized by a concern to put the well-being of children at the forefront, with teachers contributing to a supportive and close relationship with their students. That is why we wanted to start with Kide Science’s online training for educators so they can be masters of supporting playful science education with our children in preschool.”, says Alejtin Berisha, Executive Chairman, Finnish Schools International.
