Kide Science, a Finnish early science education company has just closed its first deal in Bahrain where cooperation began on 14th of June with teacher training by Kide Science's pedagogical developer and trainer M.Ed. Emilia Tuovila.
The agreement was signed with Clever Play, a creative learning hub which provides a future-focused and interactive learning environment that nurtures the natural and unique capacity of each individual to acquire flexible and transferrable skills needed to respond to tomorrow's challenges.
Kide Science's CEO Sari Hurme-Mehtälä says; "Clever Play is the perfect partner for us. They share our pedagogical values as they strongly believe that by creating a playful pathway that encourages children to be curious, children will become problem-solvers in the real world.
One of the founders of Clever Play, Mrs. Latifa Al Khalifa says the cooperation brings value for the existing STEAM programs they are offering already. "We want to offer the best programs for the children and this is something that will inspire children and hopefully also more girls towards sciences.
The agreement was reached through Kide Science’s business partner in UAE, Education House Finland. Kide Science has started science programs for 3-to-8-year-olds with educators in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, and Australia in addition to launching in other Asian countries later this year.
Kide Science supports children’s scientific thinking through play-based learning, which predicts better learning outcomes in school. Kide Science applies a research-based pedagogical model from Finland for early science education, which functions as an engaging “plug n’ play” tool for teachers. The licencing model is complemented with training, lesson plans and peer support.
